EDITING SCHEDULE

We all participated in editing the film and cropping the bits we wanted to be in it. Although some of us concentrated on different areas such as Bart did music, Roman did sound effects, Charlotte ordered the scenes and I did the titles and sequence. We aimed to finish our editing by the 1st of December which was a goal that we reached and then make any finishing touches afterwards.

Iconic sounds associated with the Horror genre

Every genre ahs its iconic sounds. The genre we chose to do for our opening sequence (horror) includes sounds such as screams, blood flowing out of someones bode, bones being broken, thumping sounds on the floors, or even dead silence. Every single of these sounds evokes a certain type of emotion. Scream usually evokes the feeling that the character is helpless, weak and is scared. Blood dripping or bones cracking often evoke disgust, or sympathy. Dead silence on the other hand builds up tension and makes the audience expect the worse.
