The genre of thriller has it's own convention of filming. Most thriller films are told in first person and narrate what happens in the story. Thriller uses alot of camera work alot, quick cuts and camera angle changes. It can use anything like the use of lighting. Shadows are used alot aswell as mirrors and stairs, they are very good conventions of thriller films.
